Huma Adnan’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection for FnkAsia pays homage to the African-Amercian women’s rights activist Sojourner Truth and her message of equal rights for women
This Suzani collection pays tribute to the rugged mountainous no-man’s land that attracted this craft from Uzbekistan and Bukhara into Pakistan almost fifteen hundred years ago. The motifs are all optimistic, the round sun disk, moon, flowers including strong carnations, irises and faunal vines.
